The Western Gold Mine 6 piece set includes mine entrance, ore cart, track section, sluice terrain, tipper and sign. Pieces are made from slightly stiff tan color polypropylene plastic with medium detail and some flashing. The mine entrance measures 9.5 inches across x 4.9 inches tall x 3.25 inches deep and the sluice terrain is 9 x 6 x 2.5 inches tall. All pieces are approximately 1:32 scale, but work well for several other scales. These accessories were first offered around 1960 by LOUIS MARX AND COMPANY included in Gunsmoke and Johnny Ringo playsets, They were later in the 1990s revival Gold Rush boxed set. This new production is manufactured using the original molds. Perfect for many eras from 1800s and Old West through early and mid-20th century time periods and beyond. This is a set of real American Made toys, meant to be set up, knocked over, picked up, and played with for many years to come. Packed in polybag bag with insert card and recommended for ages 5 and up.
